Since we switched to skirting board heating I’ve noticed that I am no longer waking up in the morning with a scratchy throat or with that blocked up sensation at the back of my sinuses. I used to find that I had to make a decision in winter time, between keeping the house warm at night and opening the windows to get some fresh air in so I would hopefully not be waking up with blocked nasal passages or a sore throat.
Now we’re using skirting board heating we don’t have to worry. I’ve already noticed that the stuffy feeling you get when you have had your heating on for an hour or so is gone. The warmth from the skirting boards panels is much more like natural sun warmth – it feels less clogged and much more fresh.
If you suffer from hay fever, or from irritable sinuses and throat, do consider switching. Your house will warm at an even temperature and most importantly all that nasty stuff on the floors - honest, even the cleanest home is covered in dust and bacteria – will stay there. Radiators and UH are both culprits when it comes to stirring up dust and bacteria: but skirting board heating leaves it all well alone.
It looks great too – and it’s freed up so much space around the home we hardly know what to do with it all! There are no tricky bits to get in and try to clean either.
If you’re fed up with hot dust in the air, clanking radiators struggling to heat rooms and having to leave your windows open at night so you can breathe: skirting board heating could change your life. It did ours.
